Starting June 1, Entry To Penagi Natuna Port Charges Charges: IDR 3,000 For People And Motorcycles, IDR 5,000 For Two-Four Wheels

KEPRI - The Riau Islands Provincial Government through the Department of Transportation has implemented a port entry levy for passengers and vehicles at the Tanjung Payung Penagi Port, Ranai, Natuna, Riau Islands starting July 1, 2022.

The rate charged for people and motorbikes is IDR 3,000, while for four-wheeled vehicles or cars IDR 5,000.

"Starting Friday, July 1, 2022, UPT IV Penagi Port has started to collect user fees at the entry pass rate," said Head of UPT Port Operator Region IV Natuna and Anambas Regencies, Riau Islands Province Transportation Service, Muhammad Fadhal when contacted, Antara, Wednesday, June 29.

"People are passengers or delivery people who enter the Roro dock area (portal 2)," he explained.

The levy is only charged specifically for ports owned by the Riau Islands Provincial Government located in Tanjung Payung, Penagi.

"Penagi Port belongs to the province, while only special passengers are at the Roro port, so that this Friday they will know," said Muhammad Fadhal.

The Roro Tanjung Payung Penagi port since it was used in 2019 and the first docking of KMP Bahtera Nusantara 01 in July 2020, this is the first time that distribution withdrawals have been implemented for passengers and vehicles.
