Starting July 1, Pertalite Buyers Must Register On The MyPertamina Website

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) will regulate the purchase of special types of fuel oil (BBM) for Assignment (JBKP) such as Pertalite and subsidized diesel fuel.

Buyers of Pertalite and subsidized Solar are required to register on the MyPertamina website starting July 1st.

"People who feel they have the right to use Pertalite and Solar can register their data through the website https://subsiditepat.mypertamina.id/ which opened on July 1, 2022. Then wait for whether the vehicle and its identity are confirmed as registered users. This MyPertamina system will help us in match user data," explained Pertamina Patra Niaga President Director, Alfian Nasution in a statement to the media, Monday, June 27.

Alfian added that the distribution of subsidized fuel oil (BBM) was one of the mandates given to Pertamina Patra Niaga, PT Pertamina (Persero)'s Sub Holding Commercial & Trading in order to meet affordable energy needs for the community.

As subsidized fuel, the distribution of Solar and Pertalite this assignment is regulated by regulations, including Presidential Regulation Number 191 of 2014 and Decree (SK) of BPH Migas Number 4 of 2020.

"In distributing subsidized fuel, there are rules, both in terms of quotas or quantities and in terms of user segmentation. Currently, the subsidized Solar user segment has been regulated, while Pertalite's user segmentation is still too broad. As a business entity that sells Pertalite and Solar, we must comply, be on target, and have quotas in distributing government-subsidized fuel," he said.

Currently, in the field, there are consumers who are not entitled to consume Pertalite and Solar.

If it is not regulated, there is a great potential that the quota that has been set for one year will not be sufficient.

To ensure that the distribution mechanism is more targeted, Pertamina Patra Niaga has taken the initiative and innovated to conduct a trial of the distribution of Pertalite and Solar for entitled users who have registered in the MyPertamina system.

He appealed to the public not to worry if they don't have the MyPertamina application, because all registration is done on the MyPertamina website https://subsiditepat.mypertamina.id/.

Users who have registered their vehicle and identity will then receive a notification via the registered email.

Registered users will get a special QR code that shows their data is matched and can buy Pertalite and Solar.

"The most important thing is to make sure that you become a registered user on the MyPertamina website, if all the data is matched then consumers can make transactions at gas stations and all transactions will be recorded digitally," said Alfian.

"This is what we hope, Pertamina can identify who the Pertalite and Solar consumers are so that in the future, it can be a reference in making programs or policies related to energy subsidies with the government while protecting people who currently have the right to enjoy subsidized fuel," he concluded.
