Puan Said, Megawati Continues To Monitor The Condition Of Tjahjo Kumolo Who Is Still Being Treated At The Hospital

JAKARTA - PDI-P General Chair, Megawati Soekarnoputri, continues to monitor the health of the Minister for the Utilization of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPAN-RB), Tjahjo Kumolo, who is now reportedly being treated at the hospital.

This was conveyed by the Chairperson of the PDIP DPP Puan Maharani when she was asked about Tjahjo's health condition, which is currently being treated intensively.

"We monitor the General Chair every day how his condition develops", said Puan to reporters at the JCC, Senayan, Jakarta, Saturday, June 25.

Puan said Tjahjo is currently still being treated at the hospital and is being monitored by a team of doctors. However, he did not specify the condition of the former PDIP Secretary-General.

"We all pray that Mr. Tjahjo, God willing, can return to health. Get back fit, return to carrying out his duties", said Puan.

Previously reported, Secretary of the Ministry for the Utilization of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform, Rini Widayantini, said Tjahjo was undergoing treatment at the hospital. Intensive care is carried out until his condition is stable.

"He is not in a coma, but has to undergo intensive treatment until his overall condition is stable and improves", Rini said when confirmed by reporters, Friday, June 24.

It was not stated at which hospital the former Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) was being treated. Rini only asked for prayers so that Tjahjo could recover soon.

"We ask for prayers from ladies and gentlemen and all Indonesian people regarding Mr. Tjahjo's health condition", she said.

"Hopefully he will get better soon", added Rini.
