Appointed As Coach Of Rosario Central, Carlos Tevez Immediately Disrupts His Former Team Juventus: Joins In Hunting For Angel Di Maria

JAKARTA - Rosario Central's new coach, Carlos Tevez, said he wanted to recruit Angel Di Maria from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). He is ready to compete with his former club, Juventus, who are also targeting the Argentine.

Carlos Tevez started his coaching role for the first time on Tuesday, 21 June. He got the job just 17 days after retiring as a player.

In his presentation, the former Manchester United player admitted that he was interested in bringing in Di Maria. It's just that he is currently too busy to call the compatriot when he has free time.

"I can't talk about this. I hardly talk to my wife because of the sheer amount of work I have!” said the former Argentina national team striker was quoted by Football Italia.

"I want him [Di Maria] to come, who doesn't? When the situation calms down, I will call him and ask him what he wants to do."

Di Maria is no stranger to Tevez's current team. The former Real Madrid player was born in the city of Rosario and started his career in the youth team.

At the end of this month, the 34-year-old will be on a free transfer after deciding not to sign a new contract with Les Parisien. However, the next destination club is not yet known.

"We know what he's like. Getting him will be very positive for the squad, for the experience he will give the players," said Tevez.

However, Tevez's wish seems a bit difficult to realize. The reason is, he has to compete with Juventus who are reportedly so eager to get Di Maria's signature.
