3,938 Hajj Candidates From Solo Embarkation Have Arrived In Saudi Arabia
BOYOLALI - Hajj candidates from the Solo Embarkation who have arrived in Saudi Arabia as of Saturday as many as 3,938 people according to data from the Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH).
The Solo Embarkation PPIH Public Relations Coordinator Sarip Sahrul Samsudin at the Donohudan Hajj Dormitory, Boyolali Regency, Central Java Province, Saturday 11 June, said that there had been 11 flying groups of pilgrims who departed from the Solo Embarkation to Saudi Arabia.
According to him, the plane carrying the 11th group of pilgrims which includes pilgrims from Kendal and Magelang has reportedly landed in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday at 07.30 Saudi Arabian time or 11.30 WIB.
After the arrival of the Solo Embarkation group 11 congregation consisting of 360 people in Medina, he continued, a total of 3,938 congregation members from the Solo Embarkation were already in the Holy Land.
The congregation of the 11th Embarkation Solo group departed for the Holy Land via Adi Soemarmo Boyolali International Airport on Friday, June 10 at 22.35 WIB.
PPIH Embarkation Solo as of Saturday had dispatched 25.4 percent of the total 15,477 hajj candidates from Central Java and the Special Region of Yogyakarta who had the opportunity to perform the pilgrimage in the Holy Land in 2022.
Quoted by Antara, PPIH Embarkation Solo will dispatch 360 pilgrims from Magelang Regency who is members of batch 12 to Saudi Arabia from Adi Soemarmo Boyolali International Airport on Saturday at 22.35 WIB.
Members of the 12th group have received 1,500 riyals of pocket money, identity bracelets, and passports. They will attend the release ceremony at the Muzdalifah Building at 20.05 WIB before being flown to the Holy Land.

In addition, the Solo Embarkation PPIH received the arrival of 358 Hajj candidates from Klaten and Magelang Regencies who were members of group 13 at the Donohudan Hajj Dormitory.
Pilgrims who are members of group 13 are scheduled to fly to the Holy Land on Sunday, June 12 at 10.15 WIB.
Sarip said that until the departure of the group of 11 pilgrims, four hajj candidates were referred to the hospital due to illness so they were delayed leaving for the Holy Land.
He detailed, that one pilgrim candidate from Kudus was treated at Dr. Moewardi Hospital, Solo, and one hajj candidate each from Rembang, Kendal, and Magelang was treated at the Indonesian Air Force Hospital Karanganyar.
According to him, the four Hajj candidates who are still undergoing treatment at the hospital can be sent to the Holy Land with the next batch after recovering and receiving a recommendation from a doctor.
