2 Youth Archers Unknown In Bima Arrested

MATARAM - Bima Police Team arrested two teenagers suspected of shooting randomly at unknown people in Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara.

Bima City Police Chief AKBP Henry Novika Chandra said his party arrested two teenagers with the initials AN (17) and MN (16) in the early hours of this morning.

"They were arrested at a place of escape in the Laju area, Langgudu District, Bima Regency", Henry said as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, June 7.

The two teenagers who are still children are from West Rasanae District, Bima City. Their whereabouts were revealed from the results of police investigations in the field.

The involvement of the two youths shooting unknown persons, he explained, was corroborated by the findings of evidence from the arrests.

"We secured with evidence two bows, three unfinished arrows, 19 nails measuring 10 centimeters long, and two nails measuring 7 centimeters", he said.

Henry stated that the legal process for the two teenagers was still at the investigation stage. The goal is to trace criminal elements.

"So now they are secured at the Bima City Police Headquarters to be followed up according to the applicable law", he said.
