Rumors Circulating Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Remake Has Been Canceled, Ubisoft: Just Postponed
JAKARTA - Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake has been announced since 2020, was announced to be released in 2021, and was finally postponed to 2023.
Rumors circulated that Ubisoft canceled the project, especially when GameStop and Amazon had stopped accepting pre-orders for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake.
Sure enough, Ubisoft confirmed that the Montreal studio was still working on it.
"We are proud of the work accomplished by Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai, and Ubisoft Montreal will benefit from their learning as the new team will continue the work of delivering a great remake," said a representative, quoted by PC Gamer.
As a result, Ubisoft Montreal is no longer targeting a 2023 release and the game has been removed from the list.

Ubisoft also said that those wishing to cancel pre-orders could do so by contacting their respective retailers, but the company stressed that project development was ongoing.
"If players want to cancel their pre-order, then they are invited to contact their retailer," said Ubisoft. “They will be updated on the project as development progresses.”
Ubisoft did not give a new target when the game will be released, you still have to wait for news from Ubisoft in the future.
