The Man With Disabilities Who Robbed A Car In Ciracas Pretending To Be A Broker For Buying And Selling Cars, Always Failed Out Of 4 Times Trying

JAKARTA - East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Budi Sartono explained that the robbery incident that occurred at a gas station in the Ciracas area, East Jakarta, Thursday, June 2, began when the perpetrator pretended to want to buy the victim's car.

"The victim's initials are LN, while the perpetrator RA is a broker for buying and selling cars. So LN is offering a car through advertisements on social media, a Honda Civic type car with metallic gray residents. The perpetrator RA came to the victim's house to buy a car," said Grand Commissioner Budi to reporters, Friday, June 3, evening.

The police chief continued, that the perpetrator had come to the victim's house 4 times, the purpose was for vehicle transactions and test drives.

"Every test drive the victim continues to follow in the car, the perpetrator wants to take it away, he can't. On the fourth day, the perpetrator comes to the victim's house and takes another test drive, then goes to a gas station. The intention is to make a transaction at the gas station," explained Budi.

Then, continued Budi, after being at the gas station the perpetrator who was still in the car hit the victim until the victim got out of the car.

"The perpetrator wanted to run away and hit the truck behind him. The victim had asked for help but there were no residents to help. The victim finally dared to hit the hood of the front car blocking the view of the perpetrator, but in the end, the victim fell," he explained.

After the victim fell from the hood of the front car, the perpetrator immediately stepped on the gas and fled.

"After the victim fell, the victim reported to the police at 3 am, we formed a joint team from the Resort Police and the Sector Police, in less than 1x24 hours we secured the perpetrators in the Kranggan area, Bekasi," said Budi.

Previously, it was reported that the East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit managed to apprehend the perpetrator of the sedan robbery with the initials RA (43) in the Kranggan area, Bekasi, Friday, June 3, afternoon.
