PLN Adds SPKLU In Banten To Facilitate Electric Vehicle Users
JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) inaugurated the 5th General Electric Vehicle Charging Station (SPKLU) at Aeropolis Tangerang, Banten.
Aeropolis is a hotel and apartment area close to the Tangerang metropolitan area and also Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
General Manager of PLN Banten Main Distribution Unit (UID), Sandika Aflianto hopes that the continued increase in SPKLU can make it easier for electric vehicle users to charge and also inspire people to not hesitate to use electric vehicles.
"We believe this electric-based vehicle is a future vehicle that will have more and more users, so we are committed to preparing the infrastructure," said Sandika in an official statement, Monday 27 May.
Previously, Banten Province had four SPKLUs located at AEON Mall South Tangerang, Supermall Karawaci Tangerang, Mall Tangerang City, and at the PLN UID Banten Office.
Sandika said, the development of electric vehicle infrastructure is PLN's commitment to the Presidential Regulation regarding the Acceleration of the Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicle Program (KBLBB) as well as an effort to be able to contribute to the achievement of Net Zero Emission (NZE) in 2060.
"We continue to strive to collaborate with various parties to be able to contribute to the realization of a battery-based electric motor vehicle ecosystem, in order to create an Indonesia that is not only free from pollution, but also in the long term, while reducing dependence on non-renewable fossil energy," continued Sandika. .
Deputy Mayor of Tangerang, Sachrudin appreciated PLN's steps to bring back SPKLU in Tangerang City.
This is the commitment of the central government in an effort to save energy as a renewable and renewable resource.
"We, from the local government, fully support sustainable programs for a better environment in the future, and also provide added value for progress in Tangerang City," said Sachrudin.
This electric vehicle is considered capable of saving energy up to 80 percent compared to conventional vehicles with fuel, so this is a big leap in technology, especially the development of energy-saving technology.
"We hope that Tangerang City will become a smart city pilot project with electric car accommodation as public transportation and open opportunities for anyone to invest in Tangerang City such as companies that support electric vehicle elements. Hopefully this can run well and sustainably in order to maintain the ecosystem and natural resources. exist on our earth," explained Sachrudin.
In line with that, the Director of Business Development of PT Intiland Development Tbk, Permadi Indrayoga, welcomed the development of the provision of supporting facilities for SPKLU facilities at the Aeropolis project, Tangerang.
He hopes that this collaboration can continue to be expanded by providing SPKLU services to other Intiland projects.
The existence of this SPKLU will improve the quality of service to consumers as well as support the Electrifying Lifestyle movement which is a new trend in people's lifestyles.
"As a public company, we have a sustainable development program, which is oriented to the environment, with the aim of achieving net zero emissions by 2060. One form of the company's support is the establishment of an SPKLU program in the Aeropolis area," explained Permadi.
Permadi said that the SPKLU at Aeropolis has been integrated with the PLN Mobile application.
Electric vehicle users only need to enter the Charge In feature and scan the barcode on the SPKLU Aeropolis, and when connected, electric vehicle users can choose the amount of power to be charged.
"As a form of our cooperation with PLN, at this time we do not charge or provide tariffs for our areas, so we really give full support to the success of this SPKLU program," concluded Permadi.
