COVID-19 Update As Of May 25: 315 New Cases Still Appear, Recovered Increases To 232
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 86,020 specimens were examined with the results of 315 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,053,424 people and active cases have increased by 78 to 3,011 cases", said Ministry of Health data, Wednesday, May 25.
Today's recovered cases increased by 232 cases, bringing the total to 5,893,860 recovered people. Then, positive confirmation that 5 died and a total of 156,553 people.
The province with the highest number of new cases was DKI Jakarta with 128 cases and a total of 1,250,076 cases. Followed by West Java with 47 new cases with a total of 1,106,395 cases. Banten has 26 new cases and a total of 292,964 cases. Then, East Java with 25 new cases and a total of 627,559 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an increase of 64 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an additional 62 recovered cases, East Java with an additional 26 recovered cases, and Central Java with an additional 17 recovered cases.
In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens has reached 98,357,716.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 3,606 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
To date, 200,015,745 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 267,068,380 people have received the second dose of vaccination. While the third dose of vaccination was 44,656,881. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
