Police Arrested Drug Dealers In Kendari, 1.4 Kg Of Sabu Secured

KENDARI - The Kendari City Police (Polresta) arrested two men suspected of being dealers of 1,473 grams or 1.4 kg of crystal methamphetamine in the area.

Kendari Police Chief Kombes Pol Muhammad Eka Faturrahman said the two suspects with the initials AP (27) and AS (21) were suspected of circulating methamphetamine in Kendari.

"The two were arrested on Tuesday night (May 24) at around 22.00 WITA, on Jalan Gunung Nipa-nipa, Tobuha Village, Puuwatu District, Kendari," said Eka in Kendari, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, May 25.

After being arrested in the Tobuha Village area, the police then carried out developments to the suspect's house on Jalan Mekar Jaya 1, Kadia Village, Kadia District, Kendari.

He said that from the arrest of the two suspects, his party confiscated 36 packages of methamphetamine weighing 1,473 grams, two mobile phones, two digital scales, a plastic press, and seven clear plastic bales.

The arrest of the two suspects was led by the Head of the Kendari Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, AKP Hamka.

Currently, the two suspects, AP, who are residents of Kendari City and AS are residents of Totombe Village, Pohara District, Konawe Regency and the evidence is at the Kendari Police Narcotics Unit Headquarters for further investigation and development.

The two suspects were charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) subsidiary Article 112 paragraph (2) of the RI Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a minimum threat of six years in prison and a maximum of life.
