Bond Film Team Pour 8,400 Gallons Of Soda On The Road While Shooting No Time To Die
JAKARTA - It's no secret that James Bond film productions always have a large budget so that scene by scene can look prime, one of which is the scene of James Bond riding a motorbike along the road.
Launching NME on October 18, producers of No Time to Die revealed they used 8,400 gallons of Coca-Cola for the James Bond scene with the bike,
The idea was initiated by Daniel Craig, who played Bond so that his stunt double, Paul Edwards, could ride a motorbike up to 60 miles on a 25-foot incline.
By pouring the fizzy drink, the cobblestone road becomes less slippery so that the Bond character can be attracted to his motorbike in no time.
The film crew spent £ 55,000 on this entire drink. “I spent nearly £ 60,000 spraying Coca Cola around Matera. I also spray Coca Cola on slippery surfaces for a long time, "said Lee Morrison, the stunt team.
It was not in vain, by pouring the drink, the whole street became cleaner.
On the other hand, the film No Time To Die will be Daniel Craig's last film in the role of James Bond. The film will open in theaters in April 2021.
Once protested by the European cinema network, Craig defended the decision of the Warner Bros. production house by saying that they wanted the public to be able to watch the film No Time To Die in a safe time and in comfortable conditions.
