Playing Thailand Open 2022 Quarter-Final Closing Match, Ahsan/Hendra Failed To Win Semifinal Tickets

JAKARTA - Indonesia's senior men's doubles, Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan appeared as the cover for the Indonesian team in the Thailand Open 2022 quarter-finals. However, they failed to win over the representatives of Denmark.

The result made Ahsan / Hendra's hopes to appear in the semifinals aground. Indonesia itself only passed one representative from this round, namely Fajar Alfian / Muhammad Rian Ardianto from the men's doubles number.

Appearing at the Impact Arena, Bangkok on Friday, March 20 evening WIB, Ahsan / Hendra tried to appear calm from the start of the match. A number of points that they achieved had made this pair ahead of Kim Astrup / Anders Skaarup Rasmuss.

However, the seventh seeded Danish double was slowly able to catch up with Ahsan/Hendra's lead. This can be seen during the first interval, where The Daddies trailed 9-11.

Entering the continuation of the first game, The Daddies try to catch a distance that is not too far away. However, the opponent's fast game made Ahsan / Hendra often make their own mistakes which in the end left them 13-21 behind in the first game.

In the second game, Ahsan/Hendra were able to steal the initial points but were again equalized by Kim/Anders. The situation of chasing each other for points continued until the score was 10-10, but before the interval the opponent's hard blow made Ahsan / Hendra again fall behind 11-10.

After the second half, Ahsan/Hendra's efforts did not slacken. They again tried to chase the numbers but the circumstances said otherwise. After the second half, Kim/Anders went even more crazy by securing important points where it continued until the end of the match which made Ahsan/Hendra defeated 15-21.

The defeat of Ahsan / Hendra in the last match made Indonesia only pass one representative, namely Fajar / Rian. This men's doubles qualify after winning over representatives of Japan with a score of 21-17 and 21-15.
