UAS Is Blocked From Entry, The Singapore Embassy Is Being Pounded By Dozens Of People
JAKARTA - The Singapore Embassy which is located on Jalan HR Rasuna Said, Kuningan, South Jakarta has been visited by a mass of action from the Defense of the Ideology of the Islamic Union (Shield). They demanded the Singapore government apologize for the refusal of Ustaz Abdul Somad (UAS)
Observations at the location at 14.00 WIB, dozens of masses of the Shield group had packed the location of the action. Originally, this action took place at 13.00 WIB, but because the rain had just stopped, the action had not yet started.
The crowd that came was also diverse. Some wear religious attributes such as a cap or hijab. Until around 14.20 WIB, the action had not yet started.
In addition, police officers and the Department of Transportation (Dishub) seemed to be on standby in front of the Singapore Embassy building.

From a press release received by VOI, the Perisai crowd criticized the attitude of the Singapore government for refusing Ustaz Abdul Somad to enter their country.

"If within 2 x 24 hours the Singaporean government has not apologized, then the Indonesian government must review the RI-Singapore diplomatic relations," wrote PERISAI's official statement.
For information, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Endra Zulpan confirmed the planned demonstration. The coordinator of the action, according to him, has given a notification letter to the police.
"They gave an estimated mass of 50. We (the police) also saw from the notification that we adjusted (the strength of the security personnel)," Zulpan told reporters, Friday, May 20.

In the 13 minute 32 second video, it is explained that UAS arrived at Batam's Hang Nadim Airport on Monday, May 16, at 10.10 WIB.
The UAS journey continued by sea by crossing using a Ferry to Singapore. UAS and his entourage arrived at Tanah Merah Port, Singapore at 13.30 WIB.
When Ustadzah Fatimah, UAS's wife and family and other entourage had finished the immigration process, UAS was still detained by the Singapore Immigration Office.
Until 18:10 Singapore time, UAS and his entourage left Tanah Merah Port to return to Batam by using the Ferry Ship.
"Actually, we are going home tomorrow, May 17, leaving Singapore. However, we were all deported," said UAS in the video.
