125 Minors Participate In Mass Circumcision Held By Central Java Police
SEMARANG - In order to welcome the 76th Anniversary of Bhayangkara in 2022, the Central Java Police through Biddokkes held a Health Service (Baktikes) in the form of Mass Circumcision which was held at Bhayangkara Tk II Awaloeddin Djamin Hospital, Semarang City, Thursday, May 19.
The activity was attended by 125 children aged 5-14 years from various circles of society.
Head of Hospital (Karumkit) Bhayangkara Semarang, Grand Commissioner Pol dr. Muhammad Khusnan Marzuki, who opened the event, explained that mass circumcision was carried out because it brought health benefits, especially for men.
"Children's circumcision will bring its own wisdom and blessings to those who carry it out. Besides bringing rewards because it is one of the religious sunnah, the process of circumcision is also one of the stages of life for children towards maturity," said Grand Commissioner dr. Khusnan through a written statement, Thursday, May 19.

Psychologically, he said, a child learns about sacrifice through the circumcision process and is expected to be able to develop a child's mindset to become more mature.
"He dared to sacrifice for his future in this world and in the hereafter. The mindset of children before and after being circumcised will also be different," he continued.
In addition, explained dr. Khusnan, circumcision has an impact on children's physical health. Children's health becomes more awake so as to avoid venereal disease.
