New Research Reveals The Rapid Development Of Solar Energy Use

JAKARTA - The International Energy Agency (IEA) predicts world countries will switch to using solar energy to supply electricity in their countries. This was revealed by the IEA after seeing the massive growth in the use of solar energy this year.

Launching CNA , Tuesday, October 13, the IEA noted that the growing awareness of people with renewable energy makes the transition of electricity raw materials from coal to solar power possible. Therefore, the IEA dares to predict the emergence of solar energy will reach 30 percent in 2030 worldwide. That number has greatly increased compared to 2019 which only reached eight percent.

"I see solar energy becoming the new king of the world electricity market. Under today's policy settings, solar power is on track to set new records for adoption every year after 2022," said IEA executive director Fatih Birol.

Fatih also added that the attraction of solar power can make anyone interested in applying it in his home. This is because by switching to solar power, the costs incurred tend to be cheaper than paying for electricity supply from coal or other natural gas in part of the country.

As a result, solar energy is the only main energy that will continue to grow in 2020. Moreover, the world community's concern for the environment is increasing day by day. The proof can be seen from the ambitious desire of the world community which hopes that zero percent emissions will occur in 2050.

The IEA believes that this could happen, as long as many people are flocking to invest in solar energy in the long term. Starting from managing the system, to managing the distribution network. There are also countries that are constrained by utilizing solar energy in the future, none other than developing countries. The IEA said, this was because developing countries did not have sufficient capital.
