Gorontalo Governor Rusli Habibie Packs His Personal Items At The Office

GORONTALO - Gorontalo Governor Rusli Habibie packed his personal belongings during his last moments at the Governor's Office, Monday, 9 May.

The term of office of the Governor and Deputy Governor of Gorontalo Idris Rahim will end on May 12, 2022.

Rusli only chose a number of personal items to take home and left items with the status of provincial government assets in his office.

“This is a work chair that I bought myself, including the two guest chairs. I used to replace some of the facilities here with personal items, for convenience," he said as quoted by Antara.

In addition to the office, the governor and his wife, Idah Syahidah, also packed their personal belongings at the governor's official residence.

Idah Syahidah explained one by one the household furniture belonging to the government that would be left at the official residence.

According to him, only a few photos and personal items will be transported to his home.

"Of course there will not be any provincial government assets that we will take home," he said.

Prior to the handover of positions on May 12, 2022, the Governor of Gorontalo is scheduled to take part in a number of activities, including attending the delivery of an ambulance grant at the Institute of Domestic Administration (IPDN).
