Bedugul Bali Botanical Gardens Crowded With Domestic Tourists

TABANAN - The Bali Botanical Gardens tourist attraction in Candi Kuning Village, Bedugul, Tabanan Regency, Bali, is packed with domestic tourists during the 2022 Eid holiday.

"Idul Fitri holiday in 2022, the Bali Botanical Gardens is crowded with domestic tourists," said Bali Botanical Garden Manager Tito Triputra in Bedugul, Bali, Wednesday, May 4.

In Eid 2022, he said, domestic tourist visits to the Bali Botanical Gardens tourism object experienced a significant increase compared to usual days.

Usually, the number of tourists on weekdays reaches 2,000 visitors/day, but the number increases to 4,000 visitors/day during Eid.

"For two years, tourist visits have been quite quiet, but the conditions have exploded on this Eid holiday, therefore we also enforce strict prokes rules starting from checking vaccine documents to checking body temperature, to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, during the Eid holiday," he said.

For those who have not been vaccinated, visitors are allowed to enter on condition that they show a certificate from a doctor to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus during the Eid holiday.

Tito added that during the two years of the pandemic, the management did not stop tourism promotion to attract tourists.

"We continue to promote our tourist attraction through social media," he said.

Meanwhile, a tourist from Jakarta, Aninda admitted that she chose the Bali Botanical Gardens as a place to spend her holiday on the Island of the Gods, Bali because she wanted to see the panorama of Bali and a new atmosphere.

"During the pandemic, the government recommended vacations in outdoor places, so I chose the Bali Botanical Gardens as an alternative place for the Lebaran holiday," he said.

The area of the Bali Botanical Gardens tourist attraction reaches 157 hectares and can accommodate 70 thousand visitors. The location that is a favorite for tourists is the location to relax in front of Lake Beratan, Bedugul, after touring the Botanical Gardens.
