Update On COVID-19 As Of October 11: DKI Jakarta Province Has Scored The Most Positive Cases Of 1,389
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) releases the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. The total cumulative cases totaled 333,449 people since the first cases were announced on March 2. Meanwhile, new positive cases per day reached 4,497 people.
Today there are 3,546 cases recovered, so a total of 255,027 people recovered. Meanwhile, 79 confirmed positive cases died and a total of 11,844 people.
The province with the most new cases is in DKI Jakarta with 1,389 new cases and a total of 86,963 cases. DKI Jakarta is also the province with the most accumulated cases in Indonesia.
Furthermore, West Sumatra has 350 new cases with a total of 8,714 cases. Central Java has 318 new cases in total
26,401 cases. Riau with 310 new cases and a total of 9,971 cases. East Java with 269 new cases and a total of 46,984 cases. Then, West Java has 205 new cases and a total of 27,236 cases.
The province with the most cases recovered today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an increase of 1,062 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an additional 555 recovered cases, East Java with an additional 272 recovered cases, and West Sumatra with an additional 206 recovered cases.
It was also reported that 1 province reported having no new cases today. The province is North Maluku. Meanwhile, there were also provinces that reported additional cases under 10, namely Bengkulu, North Kalimantan, East Nusa Tenggara and Gorontalo.
"The highest number of deaths was in East Java Province with 21 people. Then DKI Jakarta with 18 people, Central Java with 8 people," data was quoted from the Ministry of Health, Sunday, October 11.
In addition, the number of specimens examined reached 3,762,808. In detail, 3,697,877 specimens were examined using real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and 64,931 using molecular rapid tests (TCM).
"The number of positive results per number of specimens examined (positivity rate) was 14.5 percent," he wrote.
Finally, for the number of people suspected of having contracted COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases, it was recorded at 15,2286 people. Currently, 500 districts / cities from 34 provinces have cases of COVID-19.
