JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) is ready to provide excellent service for people celebrating Eid al-Fitr 1443 Hijriyah. PLN has formed a Task Force for Readiness and Reliability of Electricity Supply to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1443 H which is on duty from the 7th day of Eid to the 9th of Eid. To support power plant operations, PLN ensures the primary energy supply of coal, gas, and fuel oil is in a safe condition with operating days (HOP) above 15 days.
"We have prepared primary energy supply. We have checked, and our coal stockpile is currently above 15 HOP. For gas, especially for supply to PLTGU and fuel supply conditions are also above 15 HOP", explained Darmawan, at a press conference in Jakarta, Sunday, May 1st.
Darmawan detailed that the current capacity in Java, Madura, and Bali (Jamali) reached 32 GW. The peak load during Eid is estimated at 19.5 GW.
