D-2 Lebaran, 83,963 Vehicles Passed On The Kalimalang Homecoming Route
JAKARTA - Bekasi City Police Traffic Unit reported that 83,963 vehicles crossed the Kalimalang homecoming route, Bekasi City, West Java, on D-2 Eid, starting Friday, April 29 evening until Saturday, April 30 morning.
"53,903 two-wheeled vehicles and 30,060 four-wheeled vehicles", said the Officer, Ipda Mulyadi at the West Bekasi Post reported by Antara, Saturday, April 30.
He explained that the calculation of the volume of vehicles was carried out from 20.00 WIB to 08.00 WIB, then divided every two hours.
On Friday, April 29 at 20.00 WIB - 22.00 WIB, as many as 18,160 two-wheeled vehicles and 13,160 four-wheeled vehicles passed.
Then at 22.00 WIB - 24.00 WIB, as many as 16,680 two-wheeled vehicles and 3,940 four-wheeled vehicles passed.
Furthermore, Saturday, April 30 in the morning, at 24.00 WIB - 02.00 WIB, as many as 7,580 two-wheeled vehicles and 5,320 four-wheeled vehicles passed.

"If you look at the graph of the volume of vehicles, the peak is at night at 17.00 WIB - 22.00 WIB", said Mulyadi.
Previously, Bekasi City Police Chief, Commissioner Hengki said the volume of homecoming vehicles in the local jurisdiction, Friday night, had doubled from yesterday.
Hengki predicts the increase in homecoming volume will continue until Saturday, April 30 dawn. "We don't know exactly how many will go home until tomorrow, but in the last two days there has been an increase", he said.
