JAKARTA - The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno estimates that the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) tourist attraction in Jakarta, which will open from today on a limited basis until May 8, 2022 because it was previously closed temporarily from April 11-29 2022 to accelerate the revitalization work, will experience an increase. community mobilization during the 2022 Eid holiday.
"Later (after May 8), TMII will be closed again (to) continue construction so that in October 2022 it is ready to receive the G20 (delegation)," he said at TMII, North Jakarta, Jakarta, Saturday 30 April.

Meanwhile, the Executive Director of TMII, I Gusti Putu Ngurah Sedana, explained that the revitalization at the destination was aimed at restoring the original function and dignity of TMII since it was first established.
“By carrying the concept of Indonesia Opera, TMII will transform into The Ultimate Showcase of Indonesia. In addition, this renovation is carried out to support the activities of the 2022 G20 Indonesia Presidency," he said in an official statement.
This Lebaran week, TMII's opening operating hours start at 06.00 - 17.00 WIB. His party opened 11 rides including Bird Park, Komodo Museum, Fresh Water World, Cable Car, Golden Conch Legend Park, and Skyworld.
