Erick Thohir Becomes A Non-Party Candidate With The Highest Electability
JAKARTA - Erick Thohir is a non-party candidate with the highest electability along with Ridwal Kamil. The results of the Political Indicator survey show Erick's electability and there is no match in the cluster of non-political party candidates.
The latest survey of Political Indicators shows that Ganjar Pranowo has the highest electability, followed by Prabowo, Aniews Baswedan, Ridwan Kamil, and AHY. Meanwhile, Sandi Uno and Erick Thohir are both competing in the top six.
The Executive Director of Political Indicators assessed that Erick Thohir was an anomaly from the list of the top six presidential candidates with the highest electability. The reason is that Erick is not from a political party background. On the other hand, the figures of Anies and Ridwan Kamil, although not yet active members of a political party, have a track record of advancing as governor with a political party vehicle. Meanwhile, Erick is relatively a purely non-political party candidate.

"Interestingly, the names that appeared (with the highest electability) were the names of party people. One of the non-party names that appeared was Ridwan Kamil and Erick Thohir. Ridwan Kamil's name is reasonable because he is the head of a large provincial area, while Erick Thohir is in the position of ministers have high electability from non-party circles," said Burhanudin in his press statement, quoted Wednesday 27 April.
Erick even outperformed a number of general chairmen of major parties, such as Airlangga Hartarto (Golkar) and Ahmad Syaikhu (PKS). In addition, Erick's electability trend also showed the highest increase. Erick's electability trend rose 100 percent when compared to the results of the Indicator survey at the beginning of February 2022. In February, Erick's electability was in the range of 1.3 percent. Now the electability rate has touched 2.4 percent.
