Central Java Police Chief Ensures That The South Line Is Ready For Homecoming, But There Are Still Notes About The Lack Of Street Lights At Night
SEMARANG - Central Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi, said the southern route of Central Java was ready to be used as an alternative route during the homecoming and return flow of Lebaran 2022.
"The route is ready. We urge the public to use the southern route in addition to the toll road and the northern coast," he said, in a press release after monitoring the southern route from Cilacap to Purworejo, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, April 26.
According to him, travelers can use the South Central Java route as an alternative in case of traffic congestion.
Some of the things that have been noted from the results of this monitoring include the lack of street lighting, especially for homecomers who pass at night.
In addition, the security post in Sampang, Cilacap Regency, also plays an important role in breaking the density of vehicle traffic from the north heading to the Banyumas area.
Officers anticipate congestion when traffic flows from the Pantura area to the south lane.
"Keep your speed and vigilance. I hope you have a pleasant homecoming trip," he said.
