The Man Who Killed His Wife And Children In Kragilan Turns Out To Be Depressed, Starting From Debt, Prestige And Other Ideal Women

SERANG – After undergoing treatment at the hospital, as well as undergoing police examination, finally SA (44) was named a suspect in the case of the murder of his wife and children. The man took the lives of his wife and children inside his home, in Kragilan, Serang Regency, in the early hours of Friday, April 8.

"After the treatment, the health condition of suspect SA made significant progress, but while at the Serang Police Rutan the investigator also analyzed the suspect's mental condition. So the investigator coordinated with the Psychology Section of the Banten Police HR Bureau, so that a psychological test with orientation and interviews was carried out on both the suspect and the suspect. towards the environment where he lives and his family," said Shinto Silitonga in a written statement, Tuesday, April 19.

Shinto said, investigators also brought the suspect to conduct a psychological test at the Drajat Prawiranegara Hospital. As a result, SA was declared to be able to take responsibility for his actions even though he was in a depressed condition.

"The conclusion from the Psychology Section of the Banten Police's HR Bureau is that the suspect was depressed due to several factors," explained Shinto.

In more detail, Shinto also explained that one of the factors that caused the suspect to experience depression was economic factors. Shinto said, the suspect in his daily life is known to have an established economy because the business in the sale and purchase of cloth is running well. However, Shinto continued, in recent years there have been problems economically, so the suspect has debts.

Shinto recounted that the second factor was the suspect's health. In the past few months, Shinto continued, he had physically experienced pain in the shoulders, neck and head, but he had not been examined by a doctor so he had not received a diagnosis.

"Then, in the third factor, psychologically, the suspect felt ashamed because he was known to be well-established and had debts. And pressure also occurred because the suspect was rumored to have another ideal woman," explained Shinto.

These three factors caused the suspect to feel depressed and then commit acts of violence against his wife and child until they die.

"However, the depressed condition of the suspect does not cover the criminal responsibility carried out by the suspect for the incident," he said.

The suspect is suspected of Article 44 paragraph 3 of Law no. 23 of 2004 concerning the elimination of domestic violence with a criminal threat of 15 years in prison, then overlaid with Article 338 of the Criminal Code concerning murder with a penalty of 20 years in prison.
