TANGERANG - The Tangerang City Transportation Service (Dishub) noted an increase in the number of public transport passengers since April 15 last. Therefore, it is estimated that the number of travelers this year will experience a very high increase compared to the previous year.
"Yesterday there was also a jump of up to 700 passengers per day at the Poris Plawad Terminal (Tangerang City," said Head of the Transportation Service, Wahyudi Iskandar when confirmed, Tuesday, April 19.
Based on that note, Wahyudi predicts that more passengers will go to the village. Moreover, at Poris Plawad Terminal, which will experience a surge in passengers between 7-10 days before Eid al-Fitr.

Ahead of the Eid homecoming, his party is also conducting a ramp check or bus feasibility test since April 5.

Wahyudi explained that so far there have been no findings of vehicles that are not roadworthy. If later the vehicle is found to be unfit, the transportation will not be given a departure permit.
"Until now, there have been no vehicles that are not roadworthy. There are only minor findings, such as turn signal lights that don't turn on. Even then, they must be repaired immediately. After repairs, they can leave," he said.
