"It is enough by submitting a letter of request for FABA and completing the administrative requirements, the public can transport FABA", he said in a written statement, Tuesday, April 19.
Furthermore, he added, FABA originating from the steam power plant (PLTU) has proven to be sturdy to be used as an alternative building material in the construction process, such as making paving blocks, bricks, and rebates concrete, oil stands, to field stabilization trial studies.
"The use of FABA is diverse, but its application is more towards a mixture of building materials in the construction sector", he explained
Several locations that have used FABA are also scattered, ranging from Central Lombok, West Lombok, Mataram City, and also Sumbawa. FABA users also consist of several elements of society, ranging from government agencies, and business entities that have business licenses for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to groups of people or communities.

Previously, PLN UIW NTB had signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the use of FABA with eight Regional Apparatus Organizations in NTB in November 2021. This FABA is waste from burning coal from the PLTU which is included in the category of Non-Hazardous and Toxic Waste (B3).
This is based on Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Environmental Protection and Management, which provides fresh air for PLN to reprocess FABA into something that can be reused.
