JOMBANG - The judges of the Jombang District Court Class IB sentenced the defendant Tubagus Muhammad Joddy Pramas Setya (24), the driver of the late artist Vanesza Adzania or Vanessa Angel, to a fatal accident.
"Imposing a prison sentence of five years and a fine of Rp. 10 million, provided that if it is not paid, it will be replaced with a sentence of two months," said Chief Justice of the Jombang District Court, Bambang Setyawan, in an online trial in Jombang, reported by Antara, Monday, April 11.
The Panel of Judges also imposed a criminal revocation of the driving license (SIM) on behalf of the defendant for two years, and determined that Joddy would remain in custody with a reduced period of detention.

The verdict is lighter than the demands of the Public Prosecutor (JPU) who demanded seven years in prison in the case of the fatal accident that killed Vanessa Angel and her husband, Febri Ardiansyah, at KM672 Jombang-Mojokerto Toll Road, Jombang Regency, on November 4, 2021.
The Panel of Judges also decided that the evidence in the form of a Mitsubishi Pajero Sport motorized vehicle, with a police number B 1264 BJU, a vehicle registration vehicle in the name of Selvy Rachma Oktariany, and an e-toll card to be returned to Gala Sky Ardiansyah, as the heir of the victim through his guardian.
In addition, a SIM unit in the name of Tubagus Muhammad Joddy and a cell phone unit were returned to the defendant.
