Companies In Bandarlampung Are Urged To Pay A Maximum THR On The 7th Day Of Eid

BADARLAMPUNG - The Bandarlampung City Government in Lampung Province has appealed to companies in its area to pay their workers' holiday allowances (THR) no later than seven days before Idul Fitri.

"We always remind companies to pay the THR for Eid 1443 H in full and no later than D-7 before Eid," said Head of the Bandarlampung City Manpower Service Wan Abdurrahman in Bandarlampung, Wednesday.

He emphasized that THR payments must be made in accordance with applicable regulations. According to regulations, workers with more than one year of service are entitled to THR in the amount of one month's salary and workers with less than one year's term of service are calculated based on the time they have worked.

He said that the economic conditions that had slumped due to the COVID-19 pandemic had begun to recover, therefore this year companies are expected to be able to provide full THR to workers.

"For example, if there are obstacles, please discuss between the company and the union. But don't let it go unpaid," he said. The Manpower Office of Bandarlampung City will set up a THR complaint post on the 8th floor of the Bandarlampung City Government Integrated Service Mall.

"In the second week of Ramadan 1443 H, we will prepare the complaint post, with officers from the Industrial Relations and Labor Protection Sector," said Wan Abdurrahman.

According to him, in previous years there were not many complaints regarding THR payments submitted to the post, on average less than 10 complaints.

"There are various kinds of complaints, some are related to the amount of payment and some are not paid THR," he said.
