Mayor Eri Cahyadi Wants Puteri Indonesia Ayuma's Success To Be Followed By Surabaya's Young People

JAKARTA - Puteri Indonesia 2020, Raden Roro Ayu Maulida Putri collaborates with the Surabaya City Government (Pemkot) to foster a sense of togetherness and mutual cooperation among the youth of the City of Heroes.

Mayor of Surabaya Eri Cahyadi welcomed the collaboration. He also conveyed his pride to Raden Roro Ayu Maulida Putri who had successfully won the title of Puteri Indonesia 2020 and represented the citizens of the City of Surabaya for achievements at the national and international level.

"Thank you for making the name of the City of Surabaya proud. Hopefully what has been done can be transmitted to other young people, so that new talents will emerge from the Suroboyo area," said Mayor Eri Cahyadi, Tuesday, April 5.

Mayor Eri also wants to develop the abilities and talents of Cak and Ning of Surabaya City in various fields according to their respective abilities. Starting from tourism to health.

“After the election of Cak and Ning, hopefully Mbak Ayuma can be their motivator in developing their abilities. Because I want them to become Surabaya City Government Ambassadors, who can disseminate information on public services in this City of Heroes,” he said.

The former Head of the Surabaya City Planning and Development Agency (Bappeko) admitted that in an effort to build a city, synergy with various parties is needed. One of them, the Surabaya City Government in collaboration with nine universities in the City of Heroes.

Meanwhile, Raden Roro Ayu Maulida said that since getting the title of Puteri Indonesia 2020, she has not had the opportunity to meet with the Mayor of Surabaya because she is constrained by the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Because, in May 2022, I have to give up the crown of Miss Indonesia for the next generation. I hope that this will not rule out the possibility to continue collaborating with the Surabaya City Government,” Ayuma said, his nickname.

However, in accordance with Mayor Eri Cahyadi's wish to prepare future leaders, he wants to dedicate himself to participating in building the City of Surabaya through his abilities and talents.
