Siti Nabila, a student at the Food Science and Technology Department, has to wake up every day at 03.00 WIB before going to college. This is done so that his bakery business continues.
"During this integrated practicum we were asked to make a company simulation. And at that time, every day we went to IPB University at three in the morning using an online motorcycle taxi from home to prepare the bread to be sold in the morning," said Siti Nabila. September.
From this experience, Nabila admitted to learning many things such as how to run a business, lead, be creative in promoting products and others.
"In the Food Technology Study Program, there is an Integrated Practicum where all students are divided into four business groups. I join the bakery group. This group simulates a business but on a small scale. I have the mandate as Marketing Manager," he said.
During college, Nabila also learned to process food with technology such as making nuggets, fruit juices, jams, meatballs and others. There is also a Sensory Evaluation practicum, which is learning to evaluate the food consumed.
"As a Bogor person who studies at IPB University, I chose to stay at home so that every day I commute from home to campus. Apart from studying, I am also active in various organizational and committee activities. So that almost every day I go home at night using an online motorcycle taxi. And the next day we have to go to college again, most of which are scheduled at seven in the morning, "he said.
