PDIP Questions Ali Ngabalin's Duties At KSP Due To Frequent Comments, Moeldoko: I Ordered It
JAKARTA - Member of Commission II of the DPR from the PDIP faction, Ihsan Yunus, questioned the main duties and functions (Tupoksi) of the Main Expert of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) who often appears in the media to provide comments on current issues.
One of them, Ali Mochtar Ngabalin. Ihsan said any issue that contradicts the government is often commented on by Ngabalin.
In fact, according to him, the function of KSP is very much. One of them is looking at national priority programs, the relationship between accelerating the implementation and management of communication strategies within the presidential institution, and others.
"For example, regarding the declaration of the village head for a three-term (presidential) position. Our question is, are these experts allowed to be the mouthpiece of the KSP?" said Ihsan at the House of Representatives Commission II of Hearing Meeting (RDP) with the Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) Moeldoko, at the Parliament Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, April 4.
"Or doesn't it structurally provide input first to the Head of KSP, then later the Head of KSP who will become the information center or appoint a spokesperson in the public relations dissemination function?" continued Ihsan.
Responding to Ihsan Yunus' question, the Head of KSP Moeldoko emphasized that Ngabalin's capacity to comment was a direct order from him to the person concerned. Because Moeldoko feels unable to respond to everything in the midst of the many issues that are developing in society.

"Main experts are allowed to speak, I am the one who orders them because the issues are developing so fast and there are so many issues. I can't handle it myself", said Moeldoko.
Moeldoko said he deliberately ordered his subordinates to comment to be more productive.
"I ordered all the main experts to speak, rather than the space being filled with unproductive things, KSP should speak", he said.
