Entering Ramadan, The Central Java Provincial Government Intensive Vaccination For Boosters
PURBALINGGA - The Central Java Provincial Government is intensifying the implementation of the third vaccination or COVID-19 booster ahead of the Holy Month of Ramadan 1443 Hijri in various local areas.
"In general, the government is currently boosting the third vaccination or 'booster' (booster), especially for the elderly, but seeing the great interest like in Purbalingga, I actually see it as a momentum to boost 'booster' vaccination to all people," said the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo in Purbalingga Regency, reported by Antara, Friday, April 1.
He explained that this is also a preparation for all parties and needs to be developed by accelerating so that during Ramadan people can worship in peace.
The Muslim community who performs Tarawih Prayers, said Ganjar, is expected to continue to implement strict health protocols as a form of self-protection during Eid homecoming.
The number one person in Central Java, appreciated the efforts to accelerate booster vaccinations carried out by the Regional leadership coordination forum (Forkopimda) Purbalingga.

In fact, in order to attract residents' interest, the organizers prepared various prizes with the main prize being a motorbike and a cheap basic food market.
"Thank you to the Regent and Deputy Regent and the Forkompimda of Purbalingga Regency. This is interesting, so they invite residents to get vaccinated, there is a bazaar for cheap basic necessities and there are prizes for motorbikes, refrigerators, motorbikes," he said.
Regarding the achievement of vaccination in Central Java, Ganjar said it was good with details for the first dose of vaccine, which was 92 percent and the second vaccine reached 81 percent.
"Our first and second vaccines are already good. The third or 'booster' vaccine is almost 11 percent of the 30 percent target," he said accompanied by the Head of the Central Java Provincial Health Office Yunita Dyah Suminar.
