Nostalgia For The Past Through Time Capsule Playlist On Spotify

JAKARTA - Many of us in 2020 feel deep sadness due to various disasters, including the COVID-19 pandemic. For that, the Spotify music streaming service will bring its users a little nostalgia through the songs he has played in the past.

Nicknamed the Spotify Time Capsule, these playlists are personalized to help listeners reminisce about the past on music they've heard, or played frequently.

These new playlists can be found in the Made for You section or on the Decades Hub on the Spotify mobile app. On the other hand, if you are using the desktop version of Spotify, the Made for You tab can be found in the sidebar on the left of the computer screen, under Your Library.

After that, users will immediately see the Time Capsule playlist under the heading Uniquely Yours, in addition to other private playlists such as On Repeat (a list of songs that have been listened to repeatedly).

Because playlists are completely created for users and based on the country they live in, genre they are listening to, and age. Please note, this playlist will not be the same as other users. In addition, users can shuffle from the list of 50 songs provided.

Spotify says it's paying close attention to the growing number of users looking for music from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s, which behavioral science writer David DiSalvo believes is all about convenience.
