Revenge Once Expelled, Man In Binjai, North Sumatra, Used Methamphetamine And Then Stabbed His Brother To Death

MEDAN - A man in Binjai City, North Sumatra with the initials HN (30) has the heart to kill his older brother with the initials GN (38) by slashing him with a machete.

The problem was triggered by the perpetrator who had a grudge because he had been expelled from his parents' house by the victim.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Binjai Police, AKP Ryan Permana, said that before killing the victim, the perpetrator prepared a machete. The suspect also used methamphetamine.

"After using the methamphetamine, the perpetrator went straight to the victim's house using a motorcycle. After arriving, the perpetrator took his machete under the seat of the motorcycle", said AKP Ryan, Monday, March 28.

Next, the perpetrator opened the gate of the victim's house, then entered the yard of his house. To lure the victim out, the perpetrator first turned off the electricity in the victim's house.

"After 30 minutes the victim came out of the house and the perpetrator hid behind a wall near the fence of the victim's house. But the victim saw the perpetrator hiding and the victim came to the perpetrator", he explained.

AKP Ryan said that at that time the perpetrator immediately swung his machete at the victim. As a result, the two got into a fight.

"The perpetrator immediately slashed the victim in the hands, chest, and stabbed the perpetrator's machete into the victim's stomach. So the victim fell to the floor", he said.

After the victim was helpless, the perpetrator fled using his motorbike. Received information about this murder, the police then conducted an investigation.

At the scene of the incident, the police then found the machete used to kill the victim 100 meters from the scene. From the examination of the witnesses, the suspicions lead to the perpetrator, who turned out to be the victim's sister.

"After knowing the name of the perpetrator with the initials HN, the police then pursued the perpetrator", he explained.

At that time, the perpetrator immediately fled. The police then received information that the perpetrator was on Medan-Aceh Street, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency. The police chased him and managed to arrest him at 09.30 WIB.

"The perpetrator was arrested while receiving a call on the side of the road on his motorbike", he said.

For his actions, the perpetrator is suspected of under Article 340 subs 338 subs 351 paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code. "The perpetrators are threatened with life imprisonment or a maximum of 20 years in prison", he said.
