Vaccination Of Vulnerable People In Bangka Reaches 100 Percent
BANGKA - The COVID-19 Task Force for Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province noted that the realization of the first dose of vaccination for vulnerable groups in the local district has reached 100 percent or as many as 12.228 people.
A spokesperson for the Bangka Regency COVID-19 Task Force, Boy Yandra, said the achievement of the first dose of vaccine for vulnerable groups reached 100 percent or 12.228 people, spread over eight sub-districts.
"People belonging to the vulnerable group include pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, the elderly, people with mental disorders and disabilities," he explained in Sungailiat Thursday, March 24.
While the achievement of the second dose in the same target group, he said, was 8.853 people or only 72.05 percent, and the complementary dose or booster was 711 people.

Meanwhile, the first dose of vaccine for the general public was 112.509 people or 3%, the second dose was 79.23% or 89.137 people and the booster only reached 5.35% or 6.020 people.
The cumulative total of vaccine services in all age groups such as health workers, public officers except for children aged six to 11 years said Boy Yandra, the first dose was 78.76 percent or 200.966 people, the second dose was 166.289 people or 65.17 percent of the total target of 255.161 people.
"I ask the public for all groups of mandatory vaccines that have not received the vaccine, especially the first dose, to immediately register at the nearest vaccine service outlet, such as at the public health center," said Boy Yandra as quoted by Antara.
