Japanese Idol Group Ch Tokimeki Sendenbu's Reaction When Eating Rendang Makes Netizens Happy
JAKARTA - The Japanese idol group Chō Tokimeki Sendenbu or Tokisen is one step closer to getting to know Indonesia. They shared videos tasting various typical culinary delights, namely rendang, batagor, fried noodles, fried rice and one of the packaged beverage products from Indonesia.
Through a 13:52 minute video, the group of six members revealed interesting facts about which Indonesian food the Tokisen personnel liked the most, as well as what Indonesian words they had memorized.
At the end of the video, they also again expressed their impatience to receive the response of their fans, especially regarding new recommendations for what food and drink they should try in the next video.
Video show "Tokisen Cobain Rendang, Spicy But Delicious!" It can be watched on their official YouTube channel, TokiSen Lock'on channel, and is accompanied by Indonesian subtitles.
The video was immediately filled with comments in Indonesian from netizens. They said they were happy to see Tokisen's reaction to eating rendang.
"Akichan is really funny, he failed to open the chopsticks. Haha, thanks for the content. Everything is funny. I didn't expect to see Tokisen eating rendang," wrote the netizen.
Quoted from ANTARA, Tokisen is known for their songs breaking through the ranks of the charts in South Korea. Now their song has entered the ranks of the charts in more than 68 countries, including Indonesia.
Their song has also gone viral on TikTok and has been played 2 billion times. One of the triggers for Suki's song viral was Youtuber Jerome Polin together with the Waseda Boys group, who created one of their content using the song "Suki! ~ Cho ver ~".
Apart from Jerome Polin, K-pop idol Wonho and k-pop group ATEEZ also uploaded their videos on TikTok using songs belonging to the group consisting of Kanami Tsujino, Julia Ann, Hitoka Sakai, Haruka Koizumi, Aki Suda, and Hiyori Yoshikawa.
As a viral effect, through "Suki! ~ Cho ver ~", they had reached number 1 on Spotify Indonesia's "Viral Top 50" and made the number of their fans from Indonesia on TikTok and other social media increase rapidly.
