Karawang Police Reveals 28 Drug Cases During The Last Three Months

KARAWANG - Police Resort Karawang, West Java revealed 28 cases of drug abuse in the local jurisdiction over the past three months.

quoted by Antara, Karawang Police Chief Grand Commissioner Adjutant of Police Aldi Subartono in Karawang, Monday 21 March, said that based on the disclosure of the 28 cases, there were 38 suspects who were arrested by officers to undergo further legal processes.

In that case, his party confiscated various types of drugs, including 360 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 423.76 grams of marijuana, 86 pills of psychotropic substances, and 1,599 OKT pills.

He explained that efforts to eradicate narcotics abuse and illicit trafficking are quite complex problems.

In disclosing the case, he said, a thorough effort is needed and involves multidisciplinary, multi-sectoral cooperation, and active community participation.

For this, his party invites people from various elements to participate in uncovering cases of drug trafficking in Karawang.

"We will continue to uncover cases of drug trafficking in Karawang. So it is hoped that the participation of the community in this disclosure effort is expected," he said.

He hopes that the public will immediately report to the officers if they find indications of drug trafficking in the area.
