Banjar Police Prepare Cooking Oil For Vaccine Recipients

BANJAR - South Kalimantan Banjar Police have prepared cooking oil for vaccine recipients to help provide basic necessities, which are currently still volatile in the market.

"So please people who want to be vaccinated, contact the Police at the Banjar Police, who knows they may get cooking oil," said Banjar Police Chief Grand Commissioner Adjutant Doni Hadi Santoso in Martapura, Antara, Sunday, March 20.

He admitted that cooking oil has now become an item that many people are hunting for because the price is still fluctuating. Especially after the government revoked the regulation on the highest retail price (HET) for packaged cooking oil.

Even so, Doni ensured that the cooking oil stock was available and appealed to the public not to panic and make purchases in a hurry.

"We have checked the distributor to supply in Banjar Regency, the stock is sufficient for the community's needs," he explained.

To help the community fulfill cooking oil at a reasonable price, the Banjar Police also often holds a cheap market in collaboration with a number of agents and the local Trade Office.

"However, for residents who buy cooking oil during market operations, we ensure that they are obligated to vaccinate and adhere to health protocols by not crowding," said Doni.
