50 Centimeters Flood In Cilacap Regency, Officers Evacuate Residents While Distributing Social Assistance
CILACAP - The impact of high rainfall intensity in Cilacap resulted in a number of areas in the sub-district and district of Cilacap being flooded. The proof is that villages in the Nusawungu Sub-district, Cilacap Regency, are flooded with water levels reaching 50 centimeters.
Cilacap Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Adjutant of Police (AKBP) Eko Widiantoro, said his party had dispatched a number of members from the Nusawungu Police and Water/Air Police Unit to help evacuate residents affected by the flood. Not only that, the officers also distributed social assistance (bansos).
"Today, (Friday, March 18), monitoring of developments has been carried out in some areas of the Nusawungu District that were affected by the Flood disaster. We are evacuating residents and distributing aid to flood-affected victims," said Eko in a written statement, Friday, March 18.

Meanwhile, the distribution of aid from the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs and the Cilacap District Social Service Office was carried out using a Cilacap Police Regional Police truck and a Kroya Brimob Corps truck.
The assistance that was distributed to each village affected by the flood were:

5. Ready-to-eat food
6. Instant noodles
7. Food assistance from volunteers
