This Actress Admits That Bollywood Is Full Of Sexual Predators
JAKARTA - Actress Payal Ghosh, through social media, has publicly accused filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexual harassment.
Sunday, September 20 local time, the actress shared her experience of alleged sexual harassment which sparked a bigger debate about sexual harassment in the Bollywood film industry.
Ghosh retweeted a video of himself talking about his experiences on the news channel ABN Telugu. The tweet was given the description:
“@ Anuragkashyap72 has forced itself on me and it's really bad. @PMOIndia @narendramodi ji, please act and let the country see the devil behind this creative man. I realized that it could endanger me and my safety was threatened. Please help!"
The rising actress elaborated that Anurag asked her to commit sexual acts in exchange for working in the film industry.

Responding to Ghosh's accusations, Kangana Ranaut responded on Twitter by saying, “Bullywood is full of sexual predators who have fake and imitation marriages, they expect new, sexy young girls to make them happy every day, they also do the same to vulnerable young men, I have finished my score my way, I don't need to #MeToo but most girls do #PayalGhosh #AnuragKashyap ”.
Ranaut used the viral hashtag #MeToo which was popularized by Alyssa Milano in connection with allegations of sexual harassment by Harvey Weinstein.
He then went on to say that Bollywood had failed to keep up with the #MeToo movement, and Payal Ghosh “will be humiliated and silenced like all the other victims but my heart is on him. We deserve a better society "
