10 Units Of Damaged Houses Hit By Tornados In Bener Meriah Aceh

BANDA ACEH - Ten housing units in Delung Tue Village, Bukit District, Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh Province were damaged by a tornado on Friday afternoon.

Head of BPBD Bener Meriah Safriadi said the incident occurred at around 16.00 WIB. There were no casualties in the disaster.

"Temporary data on ten houses were damaged and we are still continuing to record in the field, because after the tornado, heavy rain immediately occurred," said Safriadi as quoted by Antara, Friday, March 11.

According to him, the average house that was hit by the strong winds suffered severe damage.

"Currently we have distributed aid during the panic period in the form of basic necessities and other necessities for disaster victims whose houses were damaged," said Safriadi.
