The Decision To Postpone Forspoken Until October 2022 Is Widely Supported By Gamers
JAKARTA - Forspoken is an action role-playing video game developed by Luminous Productions and published by Square Enix. Initially, the PlayStation 5 and PC game was rumored to be released on May 24.
However, Square Enix and Luminous Productions announced that Forspoken had been postponed and the release date was in 2022. They have now scheduled the release to be pushed back to October 11, 2022.
According to director Takeshi Aramaki, Forspoken's gameplay will focus on the speed and fluidity of terrain traversal. Square Enix also described the game as a "narrative-driven adventure". The characters will exist in an open-world game format where players can travel anywhere at any time.
According to sources at Luminous Productions, the delay in the new Forspoken is due to a desire to maintain its quality. Gamers will be given treats and views that are completely different.
"We've made the decision to move the release date of Forspoken to October 11, 2022. Our vision for this exciting new IP is to bring the game world and heroes that gamers around the world want to experience for years to come. So it was really very important to us," Luminos Productions wrote in a statement.
Luminos says that over the next few months, they will focus all their efforts on polishing the game. They also can't wait to provide a great experience on Frey's trip this fall.
"Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to sharing more about Forspoken with you soon," concluded Luminos.
