Entering Final Four, Proliga 2022 Forced To Implement A New System Due To Pandemic
JAKARTA - The 2022 Proliga Competition has now entered the final four. This season, the final four phase will be slightly different from previous years.
Director of PLN Mobile Proliga 2022 Hanny S. Surkatty said that each team that will appear in the final four will only meet once. This is because the final four will use a half-competition system.
Hanny explained that the 2022 Proliga deliberately did not apply the full competition format like the previous editions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The final four will be divided into two series.
The first series will take place at the Police General Kunarto Volleyball Padepokan, Sentul, Bogor, West Java, on March 11-13. Followed by the second series on 18-20 March 2022.
"Then the top two teams will meet in the grand final, 26 and 27 March," said Hanny, in his official statement, as quoted by Antara.

In addition, Hanny continued, the implementation of strict health protocols will continue to be enforced. The parties involved must wear masks, keep their distance, and have been vaccinated.
All matches without spectators.
"In addition, everyone who enters the field arena (GOR) is required to take an antigen swab first and the result is negative. If it is positive, it is not allowed to enter," he said.
