Police Arrest Perpetrators Of Beating Journalists In Madina, North Sumatra
MEDAN - Police officers arrested four people suspected of beating a journalist in Mandailing Natal (Madina) Regency, North Sumatra, named Jeffry Barata Lubis.
The Mandailing Natal Police Chief, M. Reza Chairul, stated that the identities of the four alleged perpetrators of the beating had the initials AW, EM, MZ, and SAL, respectively.
"They were arrested in the North Padang Lawas Regency," he said, quoted by Antara, Monday, March 7.
The four perpetrators are currently still undergoing the process of examination at the North Sumatra Police Headquarters.
"Later, complete information about this case will be conveyed by the North Sumatra Police," he said.

Previously, the beating against Jeffry Lubis occurred on Friday (4/3) at a cafe in Mandailing Natal Regency. The action was caught on CCTV cameras and went viral on social media.
The video shows the victim being beaten by a number of youths until they are battered.
