Anies Is Proposing IDR 115.4 billion Budget for Plant Procurement Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan is proposing IDR 115.4 billion budget for plant procurement amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The plant procurement plan is revealed on the syup.lkpp.go.id page, namely the General Procurement Information System (SiRUP). It is managed by the Government Goods / Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP).
It was discovered by the Jakarta DPRD, PSI faction. PSI faction member, Viani Limardi, thinks that this policy is a reflection of the weakness of the DKI Jakarta governor's ability to manage public money.
"Amid a difficult situation, Mr.Anies must be more serious in managing the budget. Don't waste people's money on unnecessary and non-urgent spending," said Viani in his statement, Tuesday, September 15.
The procurement of this crop budget was proposed by the DKI City Park and Forest Service. Of the total procurement package of IDR 115.4 billion, the City Park and Forest Service have allocated a budget of IDR 80.1 billion.
Then, the Department of Parks and City Forests in Central Jakarta City allocated IDR 16 billion, North Jakarta IDR 6.5 billion, East Jakarta IDR 6.4 billion, West Jakarta IDR 6.3 billion, and South Jakarta IDR 41.7 million.
Viani admitted that he was surprised why this procurement package was submitted to the SiRUP LKPP system on August 12. Then, the IDR 16 billion packages in Central Jakarta was submitted on August 26.
"This is very strange Everyone already knows that we have a budget deficit due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But why do we input the plant procurement into the SiRUP system?" said he.
Therefore, Viani suggested that the 2020 Revised APBD be discussed immediately at the DPRD. The goal is to describe which budgets are cut and which need to be maintained.
