Nine Malaysians Evacuated From Ukraine
KUALA LUMPUR - Nine Malaysians, two Ukrainian family members, and a Singaporean who were evacuated from Kyiv, Ukraine arrived safely at the Polish border on Saturday 26 February at 22:45 p.m. local time.
The Malaysian Embassy in Kyiv, Fadhilah Daud, and residents were picked up by two employees of the Malaysian embassy in Poland.
"Those who were evacuated included escort employees who will continue their journey to Warsaw, Poland," said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs quoted by Antara on Sunday 27 February.
The Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said they are continuing to coordinate with embassy officials to ensure the safety and well-being of all Malaysians who were evacuated and the groups that participated.

Previously, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs appealed to all Malaysians residing in Ukraine and not yet registered with the Malaysian Embassy in Kiev to report immediately.
Malaysian Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah said Wisma Putra (the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building) was monitoring the latest developments in Ukraine, especially regarding the safety of the 20 registered Malaysians.
