Luhut: If The Conditions Are Good, We Can Make A Zero Quarantine In Bali, Why Not?

DENPASAR - Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan emphasized that the discourse of Bali without quarantine or zero quarantine is not impossible. As long as the condition of COVID-19 cases continues to decline, including vaccination achievements.

"It's getting better day by day (the number of COVID-19 cases) from the Governor and the Regional Police Chief (Kapolda) providing information. So if this (vaccination) number is according to WHO standards, can we make zero quarantine, why not?," said Luhut in Denpasar, Bali, Friday, February 25.

According to Luhut, certainty regarding the discourse of zero quarantine in Bali will still await the development of daily COVID-19 cases. The new possibility will be decided within two weeks.

"We just have to wait for the next two weeks," he added.

Meanwhile, regarding foreign tourists or foreign travelers (PPLN) it is possible without quarantine with a free visa on arrival or free visa on arrival (VoA).

"Maybe we are without quarantine and people who come here can't use their visas directly from sponsors like they used to," he said.
