Good News From The Ministry Of Finance, People Can Order Sukuk SR016 Starting Today With Just IDR 1 Million Capital

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) officially launched the SR016 retail sukuk. The State Sharia Securities (SBSN) can now be ordered starting today (Friday, February 25) until March 17, 2022, at 10.00 a.m.

"You can buy SR016 through an electronic system known as E-SBN. You can make transactions for this investment instrument anytime and anywhere during the offering period," said Director General of Financing and Risk Management at the Ministry of Finance Luky Alfirman, quoted by Antara, Friday, February 25.

The public can order SR016 starting from IDR 1 million to IDR 2 billion, with a nominal value per unit of IDR 1 million. The coupon offered by SR016 is 4.95 percent.

After the minimum holding period ends, SR016 can be traded on the secondary market starting June 11, 2022.

Luky said that all generations can invest in SR016, be it students who are still in college and want to set aside their pocket money for something more useful, young workers who are learning to invest, or parents who are preparing a pension fund.

"Everyone can take advantage of SR016 as an alternative investment," he said.

According to him, the benefits of investing in SR016 can also be felt by all levels of Indonesian society and all generations in the future for a better Indonesia.

The investment returns from state sukuk, among others, are focused on the construction of educational facilities spread across 34 provinces of Indonesia.
