Seizing Used Car Opportunities, Automotive Company Owned By Conglomerate TP Rachmat Sets Aggressive Targets For Business Growth
JAKARTA - PT Autopedia Sukses Lestari Tbk (ASLC) continues to expand its network to capture the opportunity for the used car market which is still large today. The company targets to add 8 branches of Caroline's showroom this year.
Through this step, the automotive company owned by conglomerate Theodore Permadi Rachmat has set an aggressive target for its performance to grow by 180 percent or reach IDR 500 billion.
“Seeing the opportunity and potential of the used car market which is very large and still fragmented, we strive to present a safe and easy solution through Caroline.id, which is an omni-channel automotive marketplace for used cars in Indonesia. Currently, there are 5 operational branches," said President Director of Autopedia Lestari, Jany Candra, quoted on Thursday, February 24.
Jany continued, this is in line with the position of its subsidiary, PT JBA Indonesia, as the number 1 auction house and holds about 40 percent of the used car market share in Indonesia. Where every year JBA manages to sell more than 100.000 units of two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles through auction.
In addition, the company will also continue to develop Caroline as a leading omni-channel automotive marketplace, to provide new experiences for customers to buy and sell used vehicles.

That way, customers don't need to be afraid or confused in buying or selling used cars. This is in line with ASLC's vision of providing a seamless and exceptional experience for used-car buyers and sellers.
“It is hoped that with the development efforts that we have been doing and are currently doing, Caroline can be better known and make a positive contribution to ASLC's performance going forward. Where for 2022, we are targeting to be able to sell around 2.000 cars from Caroline," Jany concluded.
